They must also follow the company’s directions on ethical behavior in their day to day functions. If laws and ethics are followed consistently, the functions of collection agencies and credit professionals will be most successful. Success in the extension of credit and the collection of delinquent accounts receivable will lead to improvements in profitability, a goal of every business.
